Following the results of your free online spine assessment we will be able to provide you with a formal diagnosis either via a practitioner assessment, a full consultation or an online/video consultation. We always tailor our approach to your specific treatment needs, avoiding the need for unnecessary scans and treatment. For most of our patients, a scan or surgery is not required
Your Diagnosis
- Practitioner Assessment - with a physiotherapist or osteopath local to you for patients who are unlikely to require a scan
- Full consultation - with Mr Anthony Ghosh, a leading consultant neurosurgeon and spine care specialist. Consultations are available at our clinic locations in Harley Street, London; Chelsfield Park Hospital in Kent; or Spire Hartswood Hospital in Essex
- Online video consultations are also available for both international and UK patients
Our assessment and consultation options include:
Practitioner Assessment Clinic
Undertaken by one of our specialist back pain practitioners and overseen by our surgeon, at a clinic location near to you – £495.
This assessment option includes:
- An initial physical assessment from a physiotherapist or osteopath
- An MRI scan and combined MDT review involving the surgeon and practitioner to discuss your specific back pain issues and agree how best to proceed with treatment, or:
- If no scan is required, 2 further treatments from the same physiotherapist or osteopath, with surgeon oversight.
One-Stop Spine Clinic Consultation & Clinic
Available at our clinic locations in Harley Street in London, Chelsfield Park Hospital and Sevenoaks Medical Centre in Kent, and Hartwood Hospital in Kent- £395.
This consultation includes:
- In advance of your consultation, a preliminary concierge call to review your personal circumstances and advise you if an MRI scan may be required
- A formal, in-depth 40-minute consultation with Anthony Ghosh including a physical examination, detailed review of previous scans (if available) and medical history, an easy-to-understand clinical report and a tailored treatment plan
- If required, an MRI scan can be arranged for £360, including a digital copy of your scan
- A thorough explanation of your options should a clinical procedure be required (surgery is not required for most of our patients)
Same Day Complete Spine Consultation & Clinic
Our most comprehensive consultation, exclusively available at our Central London clinic at 9 Harley Street, – £695.
A bespoke consultation for both UK and international private patients seeking the finest possible service.
This assessment option includes:
- In advance of your consultation a preliminary, pre-consultation call with neurosurgeon and leading spine specialist Anthony Ghosh to review your personal circumstances and advise you if an MRI scan may be required
- An extended, in-depth 60-minute formal consultation with Anthony Ghosh, including a full medical history review and examination.
- If required, a same-day, on-site MRI scan can be arranged for an additional fee. This includes a full imaging review and copies of your scan
- A detailed clinical report and a bespoke treatment plan, including education about your spine and a full exploration and explanation of your surgical options if required (surgery is not required for most of our patients).
- Following your comprehensive diagnosis, many patients can then begin their treatment the same day, all at the same clinic location.
International Remote Consultation
A convenient, secure online consultation for both international and uk-based private patients – £349.
This consultation includes:
- In advance of your consultation, a preliminary concierge call to review your personal circumstances and advise you if an MRI scan may be required
- A formal, in-depth 40-minute consultation with Anthony Ghosh, including a detailed review of previous scans (if available) and medical history, an easy-to-understand clinical report and a tailored treatment plan.
Your Treatment Options
Most of our patients are successfully treated without them requiring surgery. Based on the results of your consultation, diagnosis and your specific treatment needs, if surgery is not required, we can recommend one of our tailored treatment packages.

- Full, ongoing oversight from a spine surgeon for your entire treatment duration
- Biomechanical assessment and initial therapist treatment session
- An MRI scan if required, at a hospital near you
- Tailored exercise and manual therapy programme with an appropriate spinal therapist (such as a physiotherapist or osteopath) including a detailed ongoing exercise plan
- Additional consultations with your overseeing spine surgeon and an additional MRI scan if required
- Additional sessions with a nutritionist and personal trainer if required
Premium Care Package
Package Price: from £1,895
- Our unique, money-back assurance should you not see a significant improvement in your back pain
- Complete oversight & responsibility for the duration of your care from neurosurgeon Anthony Ghosh, who will work directly with your treatment practitioners until your goals are achieved
- Multiple scans and imaging as required, including MRI scans, CT scans & X-Rays
- A tailored 6-month programme of integrated treatment sessions with appropriate specialists including physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors
